ABI project, detection of early forms of peripherial atheroscleroses

Abstract

The article presents results of cross-sectional multicentric study conducted in surgeries of general practitioners (GP). GPs measured peripherial blood pressure using ABI BOSO system in a group of patients over 50 resp. over 60. 6885 patients were included from which 941 (13,7%) were found to have ischeamic peripherial disease.
