Abstract

Despite the use of reperfusion therapies, outcomes in patients with large myocardial infarction (MI), late reperfusion and left ventricular (LV) dysfunction are poor. We investigated long-term safety and efficacy of intracoronary injections of autologous bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells (BMNCs).
