Abstract
The paper presents current possibilities of extemporaneous preparation because of medicinal and auxiliary substances offer extension for compounded (magistral) preparation in pharmacies and its advantage. The article introduces magistral preparation field from galenic point of wiew, presents legislative problems of commercial pharmaceutical products using for preparation in pharmacies.
The aim of this paper is to introduce eight selected substances newly available for extemporaneous preparation (nystatin, clotrimazole, dexpanthenol, alpha-tocopherol acetate, promethazine hydrochloride, triamcinolone acetonide, betamethasone dipropionate and fluocinolone acetonide) and present examples of possible inovative recipes that can be prepared in pharmacies and which use is verified in practice.
