Active pharmaceutical ingredients newly available for extemporaneous preparation in the pharmacies in the Czech republic and examples of formulas, part II

Abstract

The article presents nine substances (active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients) – triamcinolone acetonide, betamethasone dipropionate, fluocinolone acetonide, lidocaine, raffined corn oil, sodium lactate solution, xylitol, saccharin sodium and disodium edetate – newly available in the Czech Republic for magistral preparation, shows their properties, uses and examples of suitable formulas. The paper builds on a previously published issue about newly available ASPIs and their importance for extemporaneous preparation in the Czech Republic.
