Abstrakt
The article presents 60 years history of sleep medicine at the Department of Neurology, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague and General University Hospital in Prague starting from first registration of sleep done by Bedřich Roth to the contemporary clinical and research situation. The most important person of the department in the field of sleep medicine was Bedrich Roth.
