Abstract

Tasonermin – tumor necrosis factor-alpha-1a – is an agent used in some patients suffering from unresectable soft tissue sarcoma in combination with melphalan during isolated limb perfusion procedure (ILP). Generally it is also accepted as a therapeutical option in malignant melanoma in cases of bulky disease without systemic involvement (distant metastases reaching beyond the perfunded limb).
