Monitoring trends in N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) in acute brain disease

2010

Abstract

The results of this study did not show a statistically significant trend in NT-proBNP in patients with acute brain disease. Significantly higher NT-proBNP values than the cut-off on day 1 and 3 did not lead to the occurrence of hyponatremia and serum hypoosmolality.
