Publication at First Faculty of Medicine |
2010

Abstract

Haemangiom parathyroid gland appears as a heterogeneous group of lesions caused by aberrant production of various angiogenic factors. The article examined the expression of VEGF pKDR, FGF2, and HIF2α HIF1α and VEGF.

Only VEGF gave a strong positive reaction. However, production has not been confirmed by chromogranin A, which is a precursor of several regulatory proteins, including vasostatinu.

Production could be reduced vasostatinu zdůvodu chromogranin-negative adenoma. Only two other published cases of hemangioma of the parathyroid glands in patients diagnosed with primary hyperparathyroidism hyperplasia, pathophysiologically similar to our case
