Prevention of cardiovascular disease and hormone replacement therapy

Abstract

Hormone replacement therapy should be recommended to improve quality of life and for primary prevention of cardiovasculra disease and osteoporosis in case of premature menopause. In group of women with average start of menopause (49-51 years) hormone replacement therapy could start before 60th year of age and 10th year of menopause.

In these cases there is no elevation of cardivascular disease risk.
