Occupational diseases and endangerment by occupational diseases registered of the Czech Republic in 2011

Abstract

A total of 1266 cases of occupational diseases were registered in the Czech Republic in 2011. Most of the cured cases occurred in the "mining and quarrying" economic sector (190 cases, i.e. 15 %).

Most of the occupational diseases occured in the Moravian-Silesian region (347 cases, i.e. 27,4 %). The most frequently noted diagnosis was carpal tunnel syndrome (435 cases, i.e. 34,4 %).
