Charcot foot – patient noncompliance as primary cause and newly-acquired compliance as basal condition for its treatment
Abstract
Non-treated diabetes mellitus often leads to chronic complications including polyneuropathy and Charcot foot. The case report describes the importance of patient compliance in successful diabetic foot management in patient with acute Charcot foot complicated by infected ulcer.
