Increased serum adiponectin levels in female patients with erosive compared with non-erosive osteoarthritis.

Abstract

There are higher levels of serum adiponectin, but not resistin, in patients with erosive osteoarthritis of the hands when compared with healthy controls and patients with non-erosive OA. Therefore, involvement of adiponectin in EOA process may be considered.
