Abstract
The conference was one from the regular meetings of University Teachers Forum mapping (from the theoretical and practical point of view) the current state of education for sustainable development on the universities. Its aim was to show the current possibilities of universities in the application of sustainability approaches in teaching, research and collaboration with practice.
It was an opportunity to reflect on existing experiences and "good practice", but also to discuss possible barriers to further development. The conference outlined a possible strategy for this type of education in relation to current political documents, especially just finished Action Plan Strategy for the Education for Sustainable Development and the State Program of the ESD, which also applies to universities.
The conference was an opportunity to present research results related to higher education for sustainable development.
