Antiplatelet agents in the secondarypreventiion of stroke

Abstract

After ischemic stroke or transiend ischemic attack, it is crucial to start an antiplatelet therapy. Not only therapy efficacy but also tolerability, bleeding risk and cost of therapy need to be taken into account in the selection of antiplatelet therapy.
