Evaluation of quality of care for people with longer term mental health problems. Information about an European Union's DEMoBinc international project

Abstract
The article brings general information about DEMoBinc international project (Development of a Measure of Best Practice for People wit Long Term Mental Ill- ness in Institutional Care), which pro- ceeded from 2007 till 2010 and Czech Republic took part in. The aim of the project was to develop a toolkit which could be used internationally to assess care of long term mentally ill people set in psychiatric facilities.
The attention is also paid to the state of long term care for mentally ill people in the Czech Republic.
