Abstract
Suffering experienced by patients in the last phase of life was the impulse for clamor to avoid suffering by euthanasia, respectively the patient's killing on the patient's request. However, is the patient's decision in end-stage really free? Are there in our health care fully exploited all the possibilities for supportive and palliative care, which could provide an acceptable quality of patient's life? Moral and legal nature of euthanasia as planned murder of an individual.
