Expression of mRNA and immunohistochemistry of galanin receptor subtypes in the rat pituitary: effect of restraint stress
Abstract
In our study with the immunohistochemistry procedure, we clearly demonstrated that AH expresses all galanin receptor subtypes. The specificity of the reaction was confirmed by the Western Blot.
The effect of restraint stress revealed statistical increase of GalR2 receptor subtype. the number of positive cells as well as the specific signal density.
