Abstract
The article deals with series of morbid symptoms associated with the presence of excessive amount of gas in different parts of the gastrointestinal tract, it defines each of the symptoms, describes the pathophysiology, clinical and epidemiological aspects and lists the basic diagnostic and differential diagnostic procedures.
