Abstract

Leg venous ulcers are characterized by prolonged healing and recurrence. The patients have severe pain especially at the beginning of the treatment, and some of them have pain even after the wound has been healed.

There are several ways how to influence experiencing and elimination of the pain. One of the ways is the selection of special wound dressing material, dressing changes or more frequent controls.
