Abstract
Malignant melanoma is the second most frequent tumor of the vulva, with the incidence crresponding to 40% of all gynecological malignancies. Due to is location on vulvar mucosa, it is recognized often in an advances stage of development.
The goal of this chapter is to provide the reader with concise information on diagnosis and treatment of the vulvar melanoma, together with differential diagnoses of pigmented leasion in the respective body area
