Abstract
The exhibition prepared at the opportunity of reopening the map collection introduced 20 posters and documents published by map collection. The history of map collection together with time axis and important persons ( V. Švambera, K.
Kuchař, B. Šalamon, O. Kudrnovská and i.
Kupčík) was introduced. The next thing which was documented was the process of reconstruction of the historical hall of the collection, the restoration of historical furniture and special acqusition for protection, placing and reopening of collections.
Kuchař’s gallery of cartography was making accessible as well. The project TEMAP with the competition portal Staremapy.cz was introduced by the detection of cartographic projection, catalogization and digitalization of the collection and the tools for catalogization of the map series.
