Electronic voting and the conflict with constitutional principles of election law

Abstract

In the article, the Author introduces electronic voting (e-voting). The Author analyzes whether this form of voting violates or not principles of election law, deals with social contribution of this form of voting and concludes that elec­tronic voting does not mean only formal modernization of election procedure.

The Author points to the pilot project of electronic voting in the Czech Republic and, due to own in-depth knowledge, proposes certain modifications.
