The Demand For Motor Fuels in Middle European Region and Its Impacts on Indirect Tax Revenues

Abstrakt

Computationally intensive methods are used in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland to derive price and income elasticities of motor fuel demand. The estimations are applied to derive the effects of indirect taxation on tax revenues.
