Abstract
Article intents to solve so called advanced directives. It describes paternalism of doctors on one hand and patient's autonomy on the other hand and questions if advanced directives could become, in some cases, prolonged autonomy to its very extremities.
Article also contains law determination of advanced directives in Czech republic. Article also describes role of health care proxies in american law.
It brings on also some dilemmatic questions about advanced directives. There is also suggestion of advanced directives form in the supplement.
