Abstract
The edition of historical source presents the manuscript of the sermon delivered in June 1848 by Václav Krolmus. The transliterated personal document reflects the atmosphere of the revolutionary year from the perspective of the Czech patriotic priest, politician, writer, archaeologist and ethnographer.
The manuscript allows entering the mental world of the person who was actively involved in historical events which supported the turn in development of the whole society and to construct his attitudes and opinions. The publication of the manuscript is completed by Krolmus´s biography, description and analysis of the historical source.
