Abstract
The chapter of B. Soukupová analyzed the transformation of the identity of Prague, the Czech national metropolis, during the period of the Second Republic /ort he road of the city (probably to a certain extent standardized) from a democratic to a totalitarian regime.
Particular attention was paid to the myth-creating fiction of the urban environment.
