The use of video in teaching the Czech language for foreigners on the example of the L-Pack

Abstract

The author tackles the past and present time of multimedia in everyday life, and also opportunities and constraints if their use in the instruction, further the attention is focused on the use of video in a foreign language instruction. The positive and negative sides of using video are illustrated on the project L-Pack.

In the second part, not only the modules as a whole are commented, but also single modules, i.e. typescripts of the dialogues, comprehension check exercises, and other types such as vocabulary, conversation and pronunciation activities. Last but not least, presentation of grammar, lexis selection and information about the Czech Republic are evaluated as well.
