Lung emphysema is characterized as permanently enlarged air space distal to terminal bronchioles accompanied by destruction of lung parenchyma without fibrosis. There are three types of surgical treatment: bullectomy (resection of large emphysematic bulls which oppreses healthy lung parenchyma), volumreduction and lung transplantation (once or double - faced).
When surgery is not possible there are some bronchoscopic techniques - bronchoscopic volumereduction. The aim of our list is to show the role of radiologist for the right indication to bronchosopic volumereduction.
