Light out of Plenitude: Towards an Epistemology of Mystical Inclusivism

Publication |
2010

Abstract

"Light Out of Plenitude" is an article published in "European Journal for Philosophy of Religion", 2/2010. The author defends an innovative pluralistic hypothesis in response to the challenge of cultural and religious pluralism in the context of multicultural societies, which often leads to violent conflicts as well as undermines democratic deliberation in pluralistic societies.

The author provides a theoretical pluralistic framework which allows representatives of various cultural and religious standpoints to continue to value the core elements of their cultural and religious heritage, while opening up the cross-cultural and inter-religious dialogue which will facilitate deliberation in the spirit of deliberative democracy.
