Abstract
The aim of the article was to examine the freely works of the Czech authors deceased in the period 1933 - 1944. Proprietary copyrights end 70 years after the death of the author.
We managed to find out 12 authors and to prepare their bio-bibliographical data focused solely on cartography. The works vary in content, focus and extent.
The interest in the state border of the new Czechoslovak state connects the authors in their works; they participate in creation of the national atlas, they create school atlases and wall maps. The maps celebrating the Czech history also play its role.
Administrative, road and rail maps are created. There are described works meant for publication.
