Political parties, their genesis, current trends and future prospects

Abstract

This text aims to briefly situate the basic stages in the development of types of political parties in the modern sense of the word. At the end of text it raises the question to what extent they fit the current trends in the development of parties and party systems in today's logic of globalization and how they might play in the future, parties, party systems and democratic politics ever more active role.
