Abstract

Chapter focuses on the first evening paper in the socialist system of management of the Czechoslovak state , which rode from the everydays lige up. In Czechoslovakia lacked any tabloid printing and distribution of printed material was strictly controlled.

Večerní Praha differed not only by way of sale but also with content. Tha Newspaperaper was " happier " than other newspapers.

Večerní Praha became a popular highlight of the afternoon. The proof is that it was one of the most solf newspapers.

Its average daily circulation for 1958 featured 85,000 copies, and it is distributed only in the capital. Ten years later, the load presented daily for over 100,000 copies.

The popular presspenetrated into the socialist media system. Večerní Praha offered to unwind after a day of work , gained its readers and dominate the market.
