Consumer contracts and consumer protection. Economic, legal and social aspects

Abstract

This publication focuses on different aspects of the relationship between consumers and suppliers, the consumer is the weaker party supplier ( entrepreneur) , due to its position stronger position , which should not abuse. The authors try these relationships analyze the most complex , from different perspectives , not just the law , and includes views of the legal, social and economic.

After defining the basic concepts relating to consumer contracts, the work is focused on the social aspects of the person consumers , as well as the marketing aspects of consumer contracts. The authors pay special attention to the legislation risks associated with entering into consumer contracts , dispute resolution , consumer contracts and the problems associated with the enforcement and execution.

Attention is also paid to the issues of debt relief. The publication also takes into account various aspects of the position of consumers that are embedded in the broader context of indebtedness of households , firms and the state , and therefore contains a macroeconomic view of the debt, while at the same time points out the problems in which the proportion of consumers ( borrowers ) receive.

This publication is intended for specialized public , but can be well used as professional literature in education at the universities of economic and legal focus, draw from it may even consumers themselves.
