Abstract

This article demonstrates, through the study of the cult of Nymphs in Bulgarian Thrace, how epigraphical data could aid to a better understanding of the past. The use of modern technologies such as GIS helps to link traditional types of data with new approaches, and helps widen the present horizons of the discipline of epigraphy
