Abstract

This book discusses the family care for seniors, Its motives and impacts to the family life. The second topic of the monograph is the measurement of intergenerational solidarity using V.

L. Bengtson's six-dimensional model.

In the end of the book is developped an original model and formulated a specified theory of intergenerational solidarity and family cohesion valid for caring Czech families.
