Abstract
Throughout its long existence Charles University has inspired the creation of buildings and objects of various kind. The systeematic research that has been carried out since 1990, and for the first time in the modern history of the university, soon led to the discovery not only of isolated items but of entire collections previously unknown and inaccessible to scholars.
