Abstract
Jan František Desolda (1811-1885), Premonstratensian canon of Teplá, rendered the famous Handpostille by Leonhard Goffine, German theologian living in the 17th century, into Czech. He also added his own essys concerning Czech patron saints, to the Czech version.
