Critical region for droplet formation in the two-dimensional Ising mode

Abstract

A formation/dissolution of equilibrium droplets in finite systems at parameters corresponding to phase coexistence is studied. Specifically, the 2D Ising model is discussed in volumes of size L2, inverse temperature (>(c, and overall magnetization conditioned to take the value m* (L2 2vL), where vL ~ L4/3.

A droplet occurs abruptly through a new type of transition
