The study is dealing with the topic of gender difference in work of contemporary Czech, European and American woman architects. It is focused on three possible approaches to the topic.
Firstly it explores work of those woman architects whose work is not anyhow related to their gender, those who do not develop any gender difference in their profession. Secondly there are explored gender related and/or feminist approaches to architectural profession developing 'femininity' as the 'other' of the masculine architectural practices.
Thirdly appears the manor position understanding gender difference as relatively open, unfinished performative created by woman architects as the space of self-reflection as well as the space of experimentation with established practices of creation of architecture
