Abstract
This study presents rural amenities values estimated for Broumovsko region in order to discuss the development actions for encouraging the submontane farming. For this reason the travel cost method was applied.
Actually, only recreational values of rural amenities are estimated since travel cost method is not capable to include non-use components when measuring the total economic value of provided services.
