Abstract
In the presented study the life and work of Michael Parler, brother of famous Peter and builder of cathedral in Prague, is reconstructed. In 1359 the sojourn of Michael Parler in the Cistercian Abbey is documented.
Some parts of the monasterial area, which were erected at that time, are closely connected with the important constructions in Nuremberg
