Abstract
The specific context of the Czech theology is the controversial history of Christianity in Czech lands, which is to be overcome by „reconciled memories“. The problem of the so-called indentity of the church can be solved by the concept of „open indentity“ in one which accepts the other in his otherness.
Czech theology is called to cope with to the fact that „church“ exists only in plural of „churches“.
