Abstract
A study about the basic questions and issues of the Old Testament theology in the 20th century as they have been presented by the work of G. von Rad. The issue of 'History-Relatedness' is treated not only as the basic principle of von Rads concept of biblical theology but also as the interpretative code for localizing his place in the history of scholarly discourse.
