Study about the reception of the Old Testament motifs and themes among the Czech poets in modern era, especially by Jaroslav Seifert (Nobel Price 1984). Particular attention is given to the poetic translation of the Song of Songs made by J.

Seifert together with the hebraist, prof. Stanislav Segert.
