Children with intellectual disabilities are particularly vulnerable to abuse, exploitation and social exclusion. In this paper, we inform about selected findings on the implementation of the Convention of the Rights of the Child in the context of children with intellectual disabilities.
The research was conducted as part of the European project "Children's Rights for All" The analysis of national and alternative reports on the implementation of the Convention, other relevant documents and case studies revealed that there is a lack of systematic measures for prevention bullying and social exclusion of children with intellectual disabilities in the Czech Republic.
