Abstract
Chapter discusses the fluoroscopic examination of the esophagus in patients with GERD, its position in the diagnostic algorithm of GERD and indications for this examination. Subsequently describes conditions that can cause GERD / EER and at the same time dysphagia, analyzes their X-ray image and differential diagnosis, including graphic pictorial documentation.
It also discusses the evaluation of the actual X-ray and describes a normal X-ray image of the esophagus. Particular attention is paid to esophagopharyngeal reflux, whose diagnosis is possible only by fluoroscopy examination.
