Water-soluble non-aggregating zinc phthalocyanine and in vitro studies for photodynamic therapy

Abstrakt

Hexadecacationic zinc phthalocyanine was synthesized and its properties were evaluated. It is highly water-soluble without any detectable aggregation even at the highest concentrations.

The compound was photodynamically active that was proven on HeLa cells.
