Author of this monograph presents what offers Czech catholic theology in the XXth century in the sphere of the theology of history. The second chapter talks about polarization between “eschatologism” and “incarnationism”. The following chapters are dedicated to the relationship between philosophy of history and theology of history; to the preconditions of positive evaluation of history from the side of theology; to the problems of relationship between the time and the eternity; to the Trinitarian conception of the time.
The last Chapter deals with Christological dimensions of the theological conception of history.
