Selected psychological contexts of gender in environment of school

Abstract

Gender stereotypes influence negatively children’s personality as well as social environment of school classes. Among their consequences above all belong girls’ and boys’ non-adequate self-concept and self-esteem, initiation of premature dating activities, gender orientated bullying and harassment with the inclusion of its concealment.

The aim of this study is discussion about psychological context of mentioned phenomena in relation to medially presented gender stereotypes.
