Abstract
The article deals with the problem of the so called transhuman values. The autor shows on the example of the term „love' which is one of the most typical terms in human cultures, that this term has in particular cultures very different meaning.
The author uses the love lyrics of the different cultures to support her thesis. She deals with the ancient greak lyrics, the hebrew Song of Solomon, japaneese, chinese, aztecan, indian and inuit poetry.
She argues, that the values are strongly influenced by the tradition, historical development, natural and social environment. The importance has also the understanding of time, the relationship between particular und universal und the form of language.
